With combined experience of over 100 years, the company directors have a gold standard pedigree in offshore geotechnical engineering both in terms of consultant engineering excellence, and geotechnical survey expertise.

With experience of many hundreds of offshore survey projects, our Clients can be confident in our delivery. Projects include geotechnical investigations ranging from conventional drill ship operations, to state-of-the-art robotic seabed drill rigs, to shallow seabed investigations using all kinds of seabed testing and sampling systems in all water depths.

Jim Edmunds, Managing Director

Jim has a background of 25 years in the offshore energy industry in varied roles from field engineer to executive management working for contractors and consultancies around the globe.

Jim is expert in geoscience engineering and the application of geosciences to offshore infrastructure developments. He also has a passion for and a strong track record of development of technologies and innovations in support of the geoscience sector.

John has a background of 16 years in the offshore site investigation industry in offshore and management roles working for contractors and consultancies worldwide. A specialist in site investigation, he has a track record in the development and deployment of new technology to meet client requirements. He has a strong background in geotechnical project management and reporting.

Mark Ramsey, Operations Director

Mark spent 20 years as an engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry before transferring to the offshore geotechnical world and has spent the last 10 years developing and integrating skill sets from both industry areas on projects worldwide.

The development and use of specialist subsea site investigation tooling from concept to end client data presentation is his passion.

Peter Allan, Director

Peter has 30 years expertise in geotechnical engineering, ranging from development of high quality in situ testing tools to acting as an expert witness in arbitration tribunals. Subsea geotechnical experience includes all types of foundation solutions and he is internationally recognised as one of the leading authorities in subsea trenching and cable risk assessment. Peter has started two subsea geotechnical companies, both of which were built up and successfully acquired by leading offshore survey contractors.

Mike has 25 years global experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus within the last 10 years on the offshore site investigation / geotechnical market. Mike has been successful as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager in projects for the Oil & Gas operators, Offshore Renewables along with the service contractors.
