From an early age Jonathan was always interested in Engineering, and it was at Kingston University, in conjunction with KLM at Norwich airport, that he learned the fundamentals of Aircraft Engineering. This led to an opportunity to work with small aircraft and maintenance companies where he gained hands-on experience of working to stringent safety requirements and precision tolerances. He then moved to Gardline where, for three years, he participated on a wide range of offshore campaigns, before joining Ficep where he installed, commissioned and trained personal on complete CNC machine production lines in UK and Scandinavia. As a Geotechnical Operator is responsible for establishing methods in data acquisition as well as developing new technologies and pushing boundaries such as the deepest ever CPT in water depths of over 4,000 meters.
